AGREEMENT TO TERMS
By applying for and/or purchasing a place at a Roll In Paradise event (“Event”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
A binding contract is formed once:
- Your application has been accepted; and
- Payment (deposit or full amount) has been received
If you do not agree to these Terms & Conditions, you must not participate in the Event.
ELIGIBILITY
By booking, you confirm that:
- You are at least 18 years of age
- You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract
- You are physically and medically capable of participating in martial arts training
NATURE OF SERVICES (NON-PACKAGE DISCLAIMER)
Roll In Paradise provides training services only.
We are not a travel organiser or package provider under the
Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018.
Accordingly:
- Training is sold as a standalone service
- Accommodation, flights, and transport are not sold as a package
- Any assistance with accommodation is provided strictly as an introducing agent
No combined travel package is created.
ACCOMMODATION (AGENT BASIS)
Where accommodation is arranged or facilitated:
- Your booking is made directly with the accommodation provider
- A separate contract exists between you and the hotel
- Roll In Paradise acts solely as an introducing agent
We accept no liability for:
- Accommodation quality or standards
- Errors, changes, or cancellations by accommodation providers
- Any disputes between you and the hotel
EVENT INCLUSIONS
Your booking includes:
- Access to scheduled training sessions
- Coaching and instruction
- Use of designated training facilities
Unless explicitly stated:
- Flights are not included
- Transfers are not included
- Accommodation is not included
EVENT VARIATIONS
We reserve the right to:
- Adjust training schedules and session timings
- Modify the structure of the Event
- Change venues within reasonable limits
- Replace coaches where necessary
Coach Changes:
You acknowledge that advertised coaches may be unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control.
Where possible, replacements of similar standard will be provided.
No refunds will be issued due to:
- Coach changes
- Schedule adjustments
- Programme variations
PAYMENT TERMS
- A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your place
- The remaining balance must be paid by the stated deadline
- Payment plans may be offered at our discretion
Failure to Pay:
If you fail to make payments:
- We reserve the right to cancel your place
- All payments made remain non-refundable
CANCELLATION POLICY
8.1 Cancellation by You
- Deposits are non-refundable
- If you cancel:
- More than 10 weeks before the Event → refund of balance (excluding deposit)
- 10 weeks or less before the Event → no refund
- Non-attendance does not entitle you to:
- A refund
- A credit
- A transfer
8.2 Cancellation by Us
If we cancel the Event:
- You will receive a full refund of payments made to us
We are not liable for:
- Flights
- Accommodation
- Third-party costs
- Any indirect losses
HEALTH & FITNESS
You confirm that:
- You are medically fit to participate
- You have disclosed any relevant conditions
You must:
- Stop training immediately if injured
- Inform coaches of any medical concerns
We reserve the right to remove you from participation if:
- We believe it is unsafe for you to continue
RISK & LIABILITY
You acknowledge that Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and martial arts involve inherent risks, including:
- Physical injury
- Serious harm
- Death (in extreme cases)
You confirm that:
- You voluntarily participate
- You fully accept all risks
You are responsible for:
- Assessing your own fitness and ability
- Participating safely
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Roll In Paradise is not liable for:
- Personal injury
- Damage to property
- Losses arising from participation
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where it cannot be excluded under
Consumer Rights Act 2015.
NO GUARANTEE OF RESULTS
We do not guarantee:
- Skill improvement
- Performance outcomes
- Training results
All outcomes depend on individual participation and effort.
INSURANCE
You are responsible for obtaining:
- Travel insurance
- Medical insurance
- Cover for martial arts activities
We strongly recommend comprehensive cover.
PARTICIPANT CONDUCT
You must behave responsibly at all times.
We may remove you from the Event (without refund) if you:
- Act dangerously or irresponsibly
- Are under the influence of drugs or excessive alcohol
- Disrupt other participants
- Fail to follow instructions
PERSONAL PROPERTY
You are responsible for your belongings at all times.
Roll In Paradise is not liable for:
- Loss
- Theft
- Damage
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
You are responsible for:
- Passports
- Visas
- Entry requirements
- Vaccinations
We are not liable for:
- Travel disruption
- Denied entry
- Documentation issues
THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
We are not responsible for:
- Airlines
- Hotels
- Transport providers
- External activities
All third-party services are used at your own risk.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All training content remains the property of Roll In Paradise and its coaches.
You may not:
- Record sessions for commercial use
- Distribute training materials
PHOTOGRAPHY & MEDIA
You consent to:
- Photography and video recording
- Use of content for marketing purposes
If you wish to opt out, you must notify us in writing.
INDEMNITY
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Roll In Paradise, its staff, and coaches against any claims, damages, or losses arising from:
- Your participation in the Event
- Your actions or behaviour
- Any breach of these Terms
FORCE MAJEURE
We are not liable for delays or cancellations caused by events beyond our control, including:
- Natural disasters
- Government restrictions
- Pandemics
- Travel disruption
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid
We are not liable for:
- Loss of earnings
- Travel costs
- Indirect or consequential losses
GOVERNING LAW
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of
England and Wales.
All disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of those courts.
ENTIRE AGREEMENT
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Roll In Paradise.
